Job Description:
Looking for a compassionate and caring home support worker for my elderly parents.
Location:
Cote Sainte-Luc, QC, H4W 1S8
Title:
Home Support Worker – Elderly person
Duties:
• Assist with daily activities and ensure emotional support
• Help with managing medications.
• Administer bedside and personal care
• Prepare and serve meals
• Feed or assist in feeding
• Accompany to doctor appointments, when needed
• Clean, organize and maintain the house as needed and as instructed.
• Create and ensure a safe environment at the residence.
• Light cooking and other related tasks
• Assist with physiotherapy

Job Description Required Education/Experience:
Have completed a secondary school diploma
Have successfully completed, in this field of employment, full-time vocational training of at least 6 months in a vocational school
OR
Have 1 year of continuous paid experience as a caregiver
Language Requirement: Knowledge of English (oral)

Schedule for a caregiver:
Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm (one hours break)
Saturday and Sunday – days off
Salary: 19.00/ hour for 40 hours of work
Employment conditions:
Work in employer’s house
Work hours can slightly vary from week to week depending on the client’s health condition and needs
Overtime can be required
Social Advantages:
• 10 days of vacation per year as per Quebec Law.
