We are looking for a childcare provider to take care of our children due to long term disability of a parent.

Title
Private Home Child Care Provider
Duties:
• Supervise and care for the children of different ages at our residence.
• Plan and oversee the children’s activities as instructed.
• Prepare and serve meals for the children.
• Clean and maintain the house as needed, do children's laundry, if necessary.
• Create and ensure a safe environment at our residence.
• Take responsibility for the household during parents’ absence
• Organize activities such as games and outings for the children.
• Other related tasks.

Job Description Required Skills
• Have completed a secondary school diploma attesting at least 11 years of full-time elementary and secondary education or
• Have successfully completed, in this field of employment, full-time vocational training of at least 6 months in a vocational school
OR
• 1 year of continuous paid full-time experience as a caregiver, including at least 6 consecutive months with same employer
Qualifications:
• Be reliable and punctual
• Show initiative
• Have good judgement
• Have excellent organizational skills

Language Requirement:
Knowledge of English (oral)

Employment conditions, salary and hours
Salary of $17.00 an hour for 40 hours per week
Tuesday – Saturday from 11:30am to 7:30pm
