Position: Store Manager

Wage: $40.00 Hourly, for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Job Duties:
1. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations of the health food retail store to ensure efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
2. Manage and supervise store staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, evaluating performance, and assigning duties to maintain a high-performing team.
3. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, including seasonal promotions, loyalty programs, and tailored marketing efforts for group tourists and international visitors
4. Build and maintain strong partnerships with local and international travel agencies to attract group tours, which represent over 60% of the store’s annual revenue
5. Determine the type and range of natural health products, vitamins, supplements, and organic goods to be sold based on market research and customer demand.
6. Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with domestic and international suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and avoid stock shortages.
7. Set pricing strategies and credit policies in accordance with market competition and profitability goals.
8. Prepare and manage store budgets, authorize expenditures, analyze financial statements, and implement cost control measures.
9. Ensure high standards of customer service, handle escalated customer concerns, and maintain a welcoming environment for both individual customers and large tour groups
10. Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and proper labeling of all products in alignment with Canadian retail requirements
