Job Details D & P Construction Ltd. is looking for furniture installers to join our team and grow together!

Position: Furniture Installer (NOC 73200)
Vacancies: 2
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week), Early Morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, To be determined
Hourly Wage: $26.25-28.25
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: 5125 Coral Shores Dr NE, Calgary, Alberta, T3J 3J5
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assemble, install, and position office furniture, cabinets, frames, floors, workstations, and other commercial furnishings according to specifications.
- Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and installation instructions
- Secure furniture to walls or floors as required for stability and safety
- Measure and mark locations for proper furniture placement
- Load, transport, and unload furniture, tools, and installation equipment at job sites.
- Ensure work areas are clean and free of debris before installation
- Operate hand and power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, and saws as guided
- Perform minor repairs such as tightening screws, adjusting hinges, or replacing hardware.
- Follow safety procedures and ensure a safe work environment
- Perform other activities at construction sites as required
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
- Completion of high school education
- Will provide training; Previous work experience as an asset
- Physical capability of performing duties
- Team player, Reliability, Flexibility, Organized, Effective interpersonal skills

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding
- Weigh handling up to 23kg (50 lbs)
