Position: Construction Site Supervisor
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week), Morning, Day, Afternoon, Flexible hours, To be determined
Hourly Wage: $38.46 – 40.00
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: 4310 Macleod Trail SW #201, Calgary, AB T2G 0A4
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Oversee and manage daily operations in work site to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and site workers.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Interpret and implement building plans and blueprints.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including employee attendance, progress reports, and material usage.
• Collaborate contractors and employees to plan and schedule work activities.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with building codes and client specifications.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Completion of high school education
• Several (2-3) years of work experience in the related field
• Accurate, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Team player
• Computer and technology knowledge - Electronic mail, Electronic scheduler, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Internet
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Fast-paced environment, Attention to detail, Large workload, Physically capable of standing for extended periods; Willing to travel
