The Camp Leaders (CL) are responsible for planning, developing and delivering the camp programs and activities of the Summer Camp. They are responsible for preparing ahead of time their station plan for their assigned station. Each CL will be assigned one of the different stations: Spiritual, Hymns, Project, Arts and Crafts, Themes, Gym. This plan must be submitted to and approved by the Camp Program Coordinator who will support the CL in their day-to-day tasks. The CLs are responsible for the well-being and safety of Campers during the different activities, as well as for creating a safe, fun, and rewarding environment for them.

Job Description
Welcome and greet Campers and their parents/guardians daily with a smile and create for them a positive environment.
Prepare ahead of time all content and materials needed to welcome each group.
Cater the content of their prepared material for the ages of each group.
Determine and request approval for program supplies and equipment and acquisition as needed.
Communicate incidents or children behavioural concerns with the Camp Coordinator(s) as soon as possible.
Work alongside and under the supervision of the Camp Coordinator(s), and under the guidance of the Camp Director to succeed as best as possible to engage the Campers positively.
Explain facility rules, camp guidelines, and safety procedures to campers as needed.
Setup and take-down of camp station equipment each day.
Supervise the proper use of equipment by Campers.
Promote participation, positive behaviour, and encourage teamwork among campers.
Serve as role model in maintaining hygiene and cleanliness, punctuality, sharing clean up duties, sportsmanship and good manners.
Monitor the Campers alongside Camp Monitors during field trips and other dedicated times where the groups are all together, to ensure their safety at all times.
Camp Leaders may be asked to assist with the supervision of Campers for early drop offs and late pickups upon rotation with other staff.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures of the Camp.
Administer first aid when necessary.
Remain flexible and willing to learn new skills.
Communicate via email, phone and in person with co-workers and camp staff.
Attend meetings and services as scheduled.
