We Are Hiring:
We are currently looking for 6 full-time Construction Helpers to join our growing team. As we work with multiple projects throughout the year, you would be assisting tradespersons and will be helping in the pre and post-clean up to ensure our customers receive the best possible service in the market!
Job Duties:
As a Construction Helper, your duties are as follows:
• Prepare construction site by cleaning and moving materials to work areas, as needed
• Load and unload construction materials to and from the work site
• Depending on the season, shovel snow and pump water, as needed, in order for the crew to work without delays and in a safe manner
• Assist tradespeople, as assigned by Project Coordinator
• Directing traffic at and near sites etc. to ensure safe working environment
• Clean up post-construction by removing rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
• Perform other duties on site as assigned by Lead Hand or Project Coordinator
Qualifications:
• No minimum education and experience – On-the-job training would be provided
• Basic English language skills – enough to communicate with coworkers and clients, as needed
• Ability to work on multiple assignments at a time
• Willingness to learn the trade and company procedures
• Ability to work with multiple teams, as needed
Compensation:
• Hourly rate of $24.10 overtime rate of $36.15 after 44 hours of work per week
• Full-time position - At least 30 hours per week
• Work location: Client sites across the region
