Job Description • Set up, adjust, disassemble, and relocate immobile industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, generators, fans and tanks based on layout designs utilizing both manual and electric tools.
• Use lifting equipment like cranes and jacks to move machinery and components when installing, setting up, or repairing machinery.
• Check and review machinery and equipment for identifying and probing any abnormalities and malfunctions.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance according to standards set out by the company and manufacturer.
• Examine diagrams and schematics to establish work procedures.
• Utilize machine tools, like lathes and grinders, to create necessary parts for machine maintenance, overhaul, or set-up.
• Maintain machinery by cleaning, lubricating, and performing regular maintenance tasks.
• Accurately document all maintenance, inspection and repair information in a timely manner.
• Follow all company safety policies.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports of services offered.
