Requirements:
At least 5 years cooking experience including traditional Mandarin Szechuan cuisine experience,
Have completed a cook trade certificate
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with team or independently unsupervised
Excellent planning and organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Description • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty foods, such as sauces, vegetables and meat, seafood
• Instruct helpers in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
• Check quality of ingredients, monitor stocks and place orders when there are shortages
• May plan menus, create new recipes, and ensure food meets quality standards
• Oversee kitchen area sanitation and safety
