Tasks and responsibilities:
Oversee, coordinate, and schedule the tasks of staff responsible for food preparation, portioning, and service during catered events.
Estimate and order necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation and catering.
Establish work schedules and procedures, and keep records of inventory, repairs, sales, and expenses occurred during catering events (i.e. transportation)
Ensure that food and service adhere to quality control standards, if necessary, inspect venue to be catered.
Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from Customers.
Supervising catering events, including menu planning, organizing the setup, and coordinating with clients to ensure their needs and preferences are met.
Creating staff schedules, coordinating logistics for events, and ensuring timely delivery and setup of catering services.
Job Description
Job requirements:
High school diploma is required.
+1 year of work experience.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership skills.
Strong Problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft office.
Position requires a flexible schedule (morning, afternoon, late night closing, and/or weekends).
