Responsibilities
Tasks
Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD)
Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD)
Analyze technical documents and reports
Assist in supervising construction projects
Prepare working drawings
Write specifications
Monitor and inspect work
Estimate costs and materials
Construct architectural and display models
Assist in design development
Prepare presentation graphics and drawings
Process application for land development permits
Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets
Coordinate community outreach campaigns as required for Land Use Redesignation
(and other permits as required);
Manage utility disconnections and asbestos abatement for demolition preparation;
Apply and coordinate Demolition Permits;
Draft and submit Public Tree Protection Plans;
Apply and coordinate public tree removal applications;
Work with Enmax on servicing plans for Multi-residential projects;
Prepare Development and Building Permit submission documentation;
Provide input on conceptualization of site plan and building design;
Filing and organizing digital documentation;
Handling payment for permits and more;
Offer insights on improving the efficiency of planning processes and related documents;
Work closely with structural engineer, architects, fire protection, and other consultants
to execute the project's scope of work;
Draft required auxiliary documentation for projects, such as on-site modifications,
custom finishings, etc.;
Draft development and construction plans for semi-detached dwellings and small-scale
multi-residential projects (4-plexes);
Work closely with Associate Manager & Project Manager to ensure synchronization and
accuracy of working plans and work on-site.
