Job Details Located approximately 83km North of Prince Albert SK. on Hwy 264, Elk Ridge Resort is seeking to fill one (1) position for a Food Services Manager. Position will be full time permanent position (37.5 to 40 hrs week) with a starting wage of $26.44 hr. 3 weeks vacation per year (accrued at a rate of 5.77% of gross income). Overtime paid at 1.5X hourly rate for hrs. exceeding 40 per work week or after 8 hours on a given day. This may change if a Modified Work Arrangement or is agreed upon.
Other benefits include enrolment on Saskatchewan Blue Cross Benefit Plan (Class B), after a three month waiting period. Class C benefits include Health and Dental, Long-term disability, Critical Illness, Life Insurance, AD&D). Elk Ridge will pay the premiums on the Health and Dental, and the employee is responsible for paying the premiums on the LTD, Life Insurance, AD&D and Critical Illness.

Job Description Food Services Manager may perform some or all of the following duties:
duties include overseeing daily operations, customer service, staff work schedules, cashiering, food supplies, maintenance and administrative operations. The Manager is also expected to guide employees to find new ways to generate revenue and enhance the customer experience. Other responsibilities include recruiting, training and motivating staff, as well as maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, health and safety in the outlets.

Specifically:

• Administer purchasing and receiving procedures
• Analyse service quality and customer satisfaction
• Conduct staff performance assessment process
• Contribute to innovation process within own scope of work in the business unit
• Facilitate compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements

Employment requirements:

• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required.
