Job Details KPW Park Place Food Inc. o/a Famous Wok is looking for full-time permanent Food Service Supervisors to join our busy team located in Calgary CF Market Mall

Position: Food Service Supervisor
Vacancies: 2
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 – 40 hours per week), Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, To be determined, Morning
Hourly Wage: $18.50 - $20.00
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: 3625 Shagnanappi Trail NW, Suite J10B, Calgary, AB T3A 0E2

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff
• Collect payment from customers, also, balance cash and record sales
• Provide outstanding food and beverage service to customers
• Resolve customer complaints regarding quality and service
• Ensure that health and safety regulations as well as quality control standards are being met, in order to maintain a sanitary environment and excellent food and service
• Place orders to vendors for required supplies
• Perform daily inventory counts and keep records of both necessary and wasted supplies/stock
• Train and mentor staff in workplace safety, sanitation and job duties
• Other duties as assigned by the director/manager

Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Completion of high school education; additional training/certificate in a related field as an asset
• 1- 2 years of work experience in food service/handling industry
• Familiarity with Asian Cuisine
• Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Team player – positive, reliable and motivated, Flexibility

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
• Fast-paced environment; Overtime required; Physically demanding; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods.
