Job Description Key Responsibilities:
• Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees.
• Reporting: Prepare a variety of statistical, financial, and accounting reports to support decision-making and financial planning.
• Tax Returns: Accurately prepare and submit tax returns, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
• Trial Balance: Prepare and review the trial balance of books to ensure all accounts are correctly balanced.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies, maintaining accurate financial records.
Qualifications:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in English.
