Linwood Motor is a developing franchise car care company in Thornhill looking for an automotive service technician or automotive service technician apprentice with minimum 2 years experience and relevant education.


Work location

95 Glen Cameron Road, Thornhill, Ontario

Responsibilities

Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicle and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults. Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit.

Adjust, replace or repair parts and components of automotive systems including fuel systems, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment. Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements. Complete reports to record problems and work performed

Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years experience as automotive technician and relevant education.
Driver’s license
English language skills

Conditions

$28.40 per hour
35-44 hours per week.
Two weeks of vacation annually
