Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee our cheese production operations, with the ability to grade milk, to receive milk, ensuring efficiency and quality in cheese manufacturing processes.
Our work environment includes:
• Steel-toed safety boots
• Safety glasses/goggles

The responsibilities are:
- Train workers in job duties, on sanitation, on cleaning, safety procedures and company policies
- Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
- Prepare production and other reports. Manage inventory levels
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Preventing maintenance of machinery
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Production scheduling in dairy facility
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units
The requirements are:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as Cheese Processing Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of Latin american cheese is an asset
- Knowledge and practical experiences in operates and troubleshoots HTST pasteurizer as per Standard Operating Procedures
- Familiar with food safety/handling skills
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Atttention to details
- A beginner's level of English is sufficient. The employer will offer English language training
- It is an asset to speak Spanish or Portuguese
- Person with judgement, reliability and team player
