Job Details We, Nuwavez Cabinet Industry Corporation, are looking for passionate candidates for the position of full-time Carpenter Helpers.

Position: Carpenter Helper (NOC 75110)
Vacancies: 2
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30 to 40 hours per week), Morning, Day
Hourly Wage: $22-23
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: 110, 2620 Centre Ave NE, Calgary, AB T2A 2L3

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Assist carpenters in measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood or other construction materials according to required specifications.
• Prepare and set up tools, equipment, and materials needed.
• Carry out general labour duties such as lifting heaving materials, moving equipment, and cleaning the work areas.
• Operate power tools and equipment under the guidance of a carpenter, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols
• Assist in installing and repairing structures, fixtures, and fittings, including doors, windows, cabinets, and trim
• Paint walls and other surfaces with paint rollers, brushes, and spray equipment
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed


Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Will provide training; Previous work experience as an asset
• Physical capability of performing duties
• Team player, Reliability, Flexibility, Effective interpersonal skills
