1000038090 Ontario Inc.o/a Henry’s Restaurant and Wine Bar is looking for full time Sous Chef for 922 Queen St West, Toronto, ON, M6J 1G6 location.
2 Positions available.
Main duties are as follows but not limited to:
• Assist with planning the menu
• Responsible for ordering needed supplies (food and kitchen)
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff as well as introduce new recipes
• Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty foods
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
• Create new recipes
• Assist the chef with managing the team and ensuring smooth food service
Hours of work are 44-50 hours/week, 5 days/week. Pay is $20/hour. Successful candidates will speak English and have a minimum work experience of 1 year hands on experience. No education is necessary.
