Working hours: 30 - 40 hours per week (shift), 5 days per week, two-year contract

Job Description Responsibilities:
• Prepare sushi rolls, sashimi, and other traditional Japanese dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients by inspecting seafood, vegetables, and other components before use.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of perishable items.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate timing of sushi orders with other menu items during peak service periods.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients.
• Stay informed about current food trends, industry developments, and traditional Japanese cooking techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
• At least secondary school education
• At least 1 years proven experience as a Sushi cook in a high-paced, reputable restaurant.
• Exceptional knife skills and a deep understanding of sushi preparation techniques.
• Creativity and passion for culinary arts, with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work well in a team.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, and perform repetitive tasks
