We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality tech support and innovative solutions to our clients. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled In-Store Technician to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on computers, laptops, and small devices.
Provide exceptional customer service, including explaining technical issues and solutions to customers in an understandable manner.
Perform routine maintenance and updates on customer devices.
Assist with the installation and configuration of hardware and software.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
Manage inventory of parts and tools needed for repairs.
Collaborate with the Managed IT Department on various projects, including network setups, user management, and troubleshooting.
Support the Managed IT team with remote and on-site technical assistance.
Stay updated on the latest technology trends and service techniques.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as a computer technician or similar role, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in hardware and software troubleshooting, network setups, and customer service.
Education: Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Customer-oriented with a positive attitude.
Experience with network setups, user management, and troubleshooting.
Ability to work collaboratively with the Managed IT Department to support business clients.
