Job Details Camoshika Inc. operating as (o/a) Imanishi Japanese Kitchen at 1330 Dundas Street West, Toronto Ontario M6J 1Y1, is looking for a Head Japanese Cuisine Cook specializing in preparing authentic Tokyo home-style Japanese dishes. The Salary offer is; $4,500.00 monthly for 40.0 hours per week.

Qualifications;
- Must have two year of experience or more in preparing and cooking authentic Tokyo home-style Japanese dishes
- Must have skill in decorating and presentation of authentic Tokyo home-style Japanese dishes
- Must be open to working evenings, weekends and overtime as assigned
- Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Basic oral English is required

Job Description • Prepare and cook various authentic Tokyo home-style Japanese dishes including cold and hot appetizers, soups, sashimi and main dishes
• Prepare and cook authentic Tokyo home-style Japanese dishes for group or party functions at the restaurant
• Check proper portion sizes for all dishes and ensure that they meet company quality standards
• Instruct and oversee the training of cooks and kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of dishes.
• Supervise cooks and kitchen staff in their relevant duties of preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Manage kitchen staff by recruiting, orienting, training, assigning and evaluating their performance
• Check food preparation, food storage, use of kitchen equipment and utensils to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices in accordance with company health and safety guidelines
• Estimate expected food consumption, maintain an inventory record and discuss with management when re-stocking supplies is required
• Assist in managing kitchen operations in the absence of chefs, if required
