Job Details Hours of work are 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday (overtime pay after 40 hours). Pay is $30.25/hour. Successful candidates must speak English and have completed high school. Minimum work experience is 2 years hands on experience.

Job Description Paradigm Building Solutions Ltd. is looking for full time Construction Carpenters at 756 Old Sawmill Court, Louis Creek, BC V0E 2E0, Canada. There are 9 positions available.

Main duties are as follows but not limited to:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
• Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
• Perform activities inside the factory working stations using saws, hammers, and moving lumber around
• May prepare cost estimates for clients.
