Job Details Alnejmah Fine Food is a Middle Eastern Grocery Store located in the heart of Mississauga, providing wide selection of flaky pastries, fresh fruit and veggies and cuts of Halal meat. It’s a home of quality products and excellent customer service. We are looking for t full-time butcher to join our growing team with a minimum of two years of experience in Middle Eastern cuisine, and will perform the following tasks:
• Cut, trim, bone and otherwise prepare custom and standard cuts of meat, and poultry, for sale at self-serve counters or according to customers' orders
• Prepare meat for special displays and/or delivery
• Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats, poultry or fish and may wrap or package fresh or frozen or prepared meats
• Manage inventory, keep records of sales and determine the amount, product line and freshness of products according to company and customer requirements
• Ensure food storage conditions are adequate
• Capable of fulfilling customer orders, including tailored requests for special occasions.
• Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring displays and signage are accurate and attractive.
• Weighing, packaging, pricing, and displaying products. Keeping records, budgets, and inventory.
· Work Hours: 7 am -3 pm, 40hrs/week
