What We Are Looking For
Proactive Supply Chain Group (“Proactive”) is currently seeking 2 Logistics Coordinators for a full-time permanent position. The positions will be based at Proactive’s facilities located at 300 Gibraltar Rd., Vaughan, ON, L4H 4W7.
Job Duties
As Logistics Coordinators, you are to provide coordination and assistance to both customers and team members via phone calls, email inquiries and coordinate billing duties including but not limited to:
• Communicating with customers and responding to their queries (via phone, email) in a professional and timely manner.
• Responding immediately to customer questions and complaints and notifying them of any delays in the delivery schedule.
• Entering, updating, and processing customer orders on various interfaces.
• Accurately enter data and create various reports for internal / external use.
• Scheduling pickup and delivery appointments for drivers.
• Coordinate with billing lead to ensure accurate invoicing.
• Collaborates and offers assistance to other team members in delivering optimal transportation service solutions.
• Performs related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and General Manager.
• Well-versed in supply chain management principles and practices
• Complete all tasks accurately and timely
• Learn and apply Continuous Improvement principles to all areas of responsibility
• Organize weekly billing reports with back up and POD’s.
• Verify and enter customer sell rates with agreed customer rate tariffs.
• Confirm accruals are correct with our agreed costs from partners.
• Review any problem payables and resolve billing errors.
• Run customer weekly shipping reports for various customers.
• Help organize filing of shipment files.
• Coordinate with accounts receivable departments with collecting monies from customers.
• Show professionalism everyday towards all departments, staff, carriers, customers and drivers.
• Attitude is expected to be positive, motivated, and focused at all times.
Requirements
This position requires a deep understanding of supply chain management and the logistics industry. The successful candidate will possess:
- At least a high school diploma
- At least 2-3 years of experience in logistics sales, supply chain management, or dispatch coordination
- Good English language skills
- Ability to handle multiple accounts at a time
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
What We Offer
This a permanent full-time position with the following benefits:
- Hourly rate of $26.44
- At least 40 hours of work per week

The successful candidate will be entitled to two (2) weeks’ paid vacation after the first year of employment.
