Job Details Canadian Metal Buildings is looking for full time Construction Workers at 540 Seaman Street Stoney Creek, ON, L8E 3X7. There are 10 positions available.

Hours of work are Mon-Fri 40 hours/week (overtime pay after 44 hours). Pay is $28.39/hour. Successful candidates must speak English. No education or experience is required, on the job training will be provided.

Job Description Main duties are as follows but not limited to:

• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites
• Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, ironworkers, roofers and glaziers in construction activities
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove asbestos and other hazardous materials
• Oil and grease hoists and similar equipment
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed
• Identify and install various pre-engineered components
• Direct traffic at or near construction site, Familiarity and capability with rigging, hand signals and hoisting techniques
• Utilize crane to install structural steel with hand tools and power tools
• Installation of various insulation, wall cladding panels, roof and wall applications
