Wages: $27.50 per hour

Job Description Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook full course Indian meals including vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
• Prepare Tandoori and Mughlai dishes in large quantities.
• Prepare and cook Tandoori naan, roti, curries, kababs, chicken, cheese, and fishes etc.
• Set up and handle buffets.
• Determine size portions ensuring least wastage.
• Instruct and train staff in preparation of dishes when required
• Keep work place and kitchen area clean and hygienic
• Follow sanitation procedures.
• Ensure all pots and pans are cleaned at the end of the day.

Job requirement:
• Minimum one year of professional cooking work experience required.
• Knowledge of Hindi or Punjabi will be an asset
• No formal education required

Retention Benefit of $200.00 will be paid to the worker who works for Gians Indian Cuisine for at least 3 months.
