Job Description
Required Skills:
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and curriculum that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of young children.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment conducive to children's growth and development.
• Observe and assess children's behavior, progress, and developmental milestones, and document observations for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and caregivers, fostering open communication and collaboration.
• Provide individualized attention and support to children with diverse needs, including those with special needs or behavioral challenges.
• Engage children in creative and interactive activities, such as storytelling, music, arts and crafts, and imaginative play, to stimulate their curiosity and imagination.
• Model positive behavior and social skills, serving as a role model for children and guiding them in developing positive attitudes and values.
• Promote healthy habits and routines, including proper hygiene, nutrition, and safety practices, and teach children essential life skills, such as dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress, sharing insights and strategies for supporting learning and development at home.
• Stay informed about best practices, research, and trends in early childhood education, and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and adhere to ethical standards and regulations governing early childhood education.
