Job Details Electrician Helper
Nexa Electric Ltd has 7 available full time permanent positions for "Electrician Helper" in Calgary, Alberta. Wages will begin at $23 per hour. The location of work varies within the Calgary area.
Some on the job training will be provided. Electrical experience would be an asset.
Employment consists of but are not limited to:
• Helpers carry materials and tools, cut and bend wire and conduit, use tools to repair and maintain wiring, and clean work areas and equipment.
• The basic task they perform is aiding electricians by performing duties which require less technical skill. This includes things like using, supplying, or holding tools and materials, cleaning the workspace and equipment
• Examining electrical units for loose connections, measuring and cutting wires and conduits, and drilling holes for electrical hookups. They also supply tools to the master electrician, maintain a clean workspace, and power down and store electrical equipment.
• Load and unload materials, move materials to work areas
• Assist electricians with activities
• Perform other activities as directed
