Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
Experience: Work experience as food service supervisors for 1 year or more required
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods, Walking
Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people
Specific Skills/Job Duties: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures; Address customers' complaints or concerns; Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food; Ensure food service and quality control; Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage; Prepare and submit reports; Prepare food order summaries for chef; Supervise and check assembly of trays; Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys; Establish work schedules.
