Job Details Hastings Reflexology & Steam Sauna Inc. is looking for full time Massage Therapist at 766 Hastings St E, Vancouver, BC, V6A 1R5, Canada. There are 5 positions available.

Hours of work are minimum of 30 hours per week (overtime pay after 40 hours). Pay is $32.00 per hour. Successful candidates must speak English and must have Certificate or Diploma in Foot Reflexology and/or Body massage. Minimum work experience is 3 years hands on experience in Foot Reflexology and Body massage and fusion knowledge of various types of body massage such as acupressure massage, deep tissue massage and Swedish massage. Age preferred 35 to 47 years old.

Job Description Main duties are as follows but not limited to:

• Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans
• Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients
• Administer massage techniques, treating soft tissues and joints of the body through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations, remedial exercise programs and client self-help programs
• Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques for further postural improvement and stretching, strengthening, relaxation and rehabilitative exercises
• Maintain records of treatments given
• May consult with other health care professionals such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, physicians, and psychologists when developing treatment plans for clients.
• Massage therapists may be trained in various specialized massage techniques.
• Apply pressure to reflex points on the feet, knowledge of hand techniques on map defined pressure points of the foot to promote good health
