Job Description Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, organize, control, evaluate, and improve the current procurement and supply chain operations for the company.
· Develop and implement company policies to achieve the best procurement practices, as well as to reduce replenishment delay and overhead of the stock.
· Continuously monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure the smooth business operation on a daily basis.
· Control procurement budget by optimizing supply chain operations and lead times for the company.
· Examine the quality of goods and optimize the cost effectiveness of existing purchasing contracts through a proper analysis
· Source new suppliers and vendors while maintaining the existing partnerships wherever applicable.
· Oversee negotiations of purchasing contracts with suppliers which include but are not limited to the hardware such as shower door handles and connectors, hinges, commercial U channels, aluminum closet door frames and boards; wooden boards, pure white laminated glass and black laminated glass; and machine parts such as belt and bolts.
· Accept and process claims against any of the existing suppliers.
· Provide training, direction, support, feedback, development, and performance management to the team.

Qualification:

· College diploma or equivalent experience required, preferably in business administration, commerce or economics.
· 5+ years of experience in purchasing or supply-chain roles, of which 2+ years should be in a managerial position.
· Previous experience in negotiating contracts with suppliers and vendors is a must.
· Strong leadership skill, able to lead and motivate all levels of staff.
· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other related office software.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Entrepreneurial mind-set, seek out to lead change proactively.
