Construction Project Manager
Coldstream Designs provides any home renovation services including, kitchen, bathroom, flooring, custom closet, etc. Coldstream’s team brings many years of experience in the field and has exhibited a great working knowledge and professionalism in all phases of the business. We are looking to hire a Construction Project Manager to lead and manage a wide range of construction projects, assist our clients with the design budget and project management while ensuring projects are completed in a safe and timely manner.
Position: Construction Project Manager
Type of work: Full-time, Permanent?
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday
Salary: $42-45 per hour

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:?
• Responsible for supervising employees and contractors by lead and manage the ongoing and new renovation projects through pre-construction and construction phases
• Develop and maintain design and construction project budget, and track construction correspondence, approvals, reports, schedules, plans, drawings, invoices, and other documentation
• Attend onsite meetings with tenants and contractors, recording and disseminating clear and accurate minutes to all parties involved
• Interact, negotiate, and maintain professional relationships with contractor, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Effectively communicate with construction site employees, reporting back to management with recommendation
• Manage change orders throughout the duration of the project, make regular trips to sites
• Proactively direct and review the construction work is performed in accordance with the contract documents, as well as maintaining proper quality, inspections, and schedules
• Liaise with development, construction, finance, and accounting teams, as well as external consultants and partners, to ensure timelines and objectives are maintained
?Qualifications:?
• A diploma or a degree in project / construction management, interior designs, architecture design, or a related field of study is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of related experience is required
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures and inspections, materials, project management principles.?
• Knowledge of construction contract & related legal contractual agreements binding to building construction and renovation projects
• Organizational skills to create work schedules and set realistic timelines
• Willingness to travel on short notice throughout Ontario
