Job Details Freight Forwarding Logistician

We are looking for a full-time permanent Freight Forwarding Logistician to join our team in Vancouver, BC.
Courtney Agencies is a customs brokerage and international freight forwarding company. We collaborate with international freight agents to move products from anywhere in the world into Canada and vice versa.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for training of new hires or interns of Freight Department
• Plan and organize freight forwarding operations, assign tasks, resolve work-related issues establish work schedules and procedures for team members
• Assign and co-ordinate the traffic of freight forwarding requests coming from clients, other international freight forwarders & other queries from internal departments.
• Prepare and present weekly/quarterly progress reports to management about freight forwarding activities and KPI’s
• May perform the duties of International Freight Specialist, including generate and dispatch shipping, receiving and quotation information to current and prospective clients

Job Description Requirements:
• Complete high school diploma or complete the one or two-year business college/university program is preferred.
• 1+ year(s) of directly related experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving, organizational skills, customer oriented.
Remuneration:
• Full-time permanent at least from 30hr per week
• $25.4/per hour.
