About the Position
We are currently looking for a visionary leader to join us as the General Assistant Manager of our company to help us facilitate and achieve our growth initiatives. The individual will take this leadership and revenue-generating role by leading the development and execution of the company’s strategy plans for service product diversification as well as capital attraction.

Position Terms: Full-time, Permanent

Accountabilities:
-Work with the stakeholders to develop and facilitate the implementation of the organization's mission, vision, goals and initiatives;
-Oversee the company’s strategic direction and business development as well as overall operations and performance
-Steer the growth initiatives by introducing innovative asset management products and business models, enhancing operating efficiency and increasing market penetration;
-Help create and facilitate the company’s growth strategy plans to expand the corporate capital budget by actively attracting/obtaining investment funds from the local and international capital market;
-Lead strategy plans for the diversification of asset leasing & management products within industry focus;
-Proactively identify, analyze and mitigate risks to the business;
-Promote the company and/or investment opportunities with us through liaison and strategic relationship with individual investors, private equity companies, investment companies/banks, in international as well as domestic markets;
-Build and maintain relationships with prospective and exiting clients and partners;
-Propose and build complex and dynamic financial models for a variety of asset strategies that increase returns and growth, including budgeting, asset leasing, management, equipment finance, maintenance, risk management, hold/sell analysis, etc.
-Lead the development and execution of strategies and action plans for market expansion among target business customers
-Direct and participate in research and analysis on target business customers, including market fundamentals, appraisal assumptions and value conclusions.
-Lead the review and evaluation of financing and leasing applications and collateral, and make recommendations on approval/rejection decisions;
-Oversee the establishment of contract terms as well as schedules for payments, monitor activities of clients on a ongoing basis;
-Oversee collection of overdue/delinquent accounts;
-Provide management guidance for monitoring business performance and regular reports in light of compliance with annual budgets and as well as progress on business plans and strategic initiatives;
-Propose and act on strategies on how to improve company's operation efficiency on a regular basis;
-May mentor and train staff;
-Other duties as required.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or relevant field; Master's degree considered an asset
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in financial/investment services or operations
• Solid investment knowledge, preferably with expertise in asset finance and management
• Proven leader, motivator, and effective decision maker with the ability to set a vision, lead innovation, and mentor others
• Contacts/relationships with complementary business associates in the local and global capital market including high net-worth individuals/investors, private equity groups, investment banks, would be a great asset.
• Proven ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders in the planning and delivery of investment strategies
• Ability to establish and maintain a high level of credibility with internal and external stakeholders
• Energetic, forward thinking, strategic, creative, with a lead-by-example style that promotes a positive, collaborative, team based environment
• Results oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and prioritize to meet business objectives
Salary: CAD$ 80,000—10,600 annually, commensurate with experience.
