Job Title: Food Service Supervisor (NOC: 6311)

Work Location: 2931 9TH AVE NE Salmon Arm, BC V1E 2S7 and 270 4th St NE Salmon Arm, BC V1E 4S1

Wage: $16.60 per hour; 35 hours per week

Number of positions: 4

Terms of Employment: Full-time and Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:
• Supervise & co-ordinate activities of food counter attendants, bakers and other workers at restaurant.
• Schedule shifts for staff members like team leaders, counter attendants, etc. and set work procedures.
• Estimate & order restaurant supplies; breads, bagels, tim bits, vegetables, sauces, soups etc and maintain adequate level of inventory.
• Provide training to staff in their job duties when required.
• Ensure acceptable food quality and service levels.
• May assist in hiring & training staff.
• Maintain records of stock, expenses, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Oversee and respond to customer concerns and resolve employee concerns.

Job Description Job Requirements/Skills:
• Completion of high school is required
• Knowledge of English language is required
• Minimum one year of work experience required in the similar field.
• Must be prepared to work under pressure
