Salary: $18.75 hourly, 36 - 44 Hours per week

Important Information: 12-hour rotational shift work from 7.00am to 7.00pm or from 7.00pm to 7.00am
-Weeks 1 and 3: 3 days a week. Generally Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday (36h per week)
-Weeks 2 and 4: 4 days a week. Generally Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (44h per week)

Job Description Job Description:
• Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
• Check and weigh materials and products
• Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
• Assist machine operators in hacksawing during jam-ups, also assist assemblers and other workers
• Perform other labouring and elemental activities
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Pack and load boxes with the correct amount of product
• Load full boxes of product onto rack
• Assemble boxes
• Remove off-spec material from the line
• Be able to determine a problem area and help solve the problem
• Perform visual and manual quality control checks
• Follow Supervisor’s instructions
• Observe, follow and comply with all safety rules, company policies and regulations
Requirements:
Education: Not required
Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training is provided.
