Job Description Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up child from school and accompany her to and from after school activities
• Prepare hot healthy snacks and prepare dinner
• Maintain a regular schedule of mealtime and play time for the child
• Monitor the child’s homework is complete before other activities begin
• Engage the child in fun learning activities and design daily activities for her
• Monitor child to ensure she is aware of her physical and emotional needs and maintain a safe and healthy environment at home
• Follow all curriculum guidelines and/or special rules as laid out by parents
• Keep records and communicate with parents about child’s performance, daily activities, health information and/or other problems
• Perform light housekeeping duties as instructed by employer
• Perform other child care support duties as required by employer
