Job Description:

? Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods in accordance with standards and in a timely manner
? Prepare and cook special meals for clients as instructed by chef
? Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
? Clean kitchen and work areas at the end of shift
? Inspect kitchens and food service areas
? Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
? Order supplies and equipment
? Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
? Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
? Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
? Prepare varied dishes from scratch with fresh products

Requirements:
- Education: Completion of high school is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a cook is required. In the event that the candidate does not have 3 years of experience then a post-secondary certificate is required.
-Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, attention to detail, physically demanding, manual dexterity.
-Personal suitability: Organized, team player, effective interpersonal skills, judgement, excellent oral communication, initiative, reliability, accurate.
-Language: English is required

Salary: $18 hourly, 40 Hours per week.

Benefits: Accommodation provided at a cost (room in a shared house). Transportation costs covered if a worker needs to relocate. Gratuities.

Important Information: We are open 7 days a week. Regular schedule includes working 5 days per week. The work day begins at 7 am and ends at 3 pm. Position requires flexibility in scheduling, including evening or weekend hours based on business needs.
