Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa is located at 4050 Whistler Way, Whistler, BC is looking for a skilled and experienced Full-time and Permanent Sous Chefs.
Conditions:
• Position: Sous Chef (Full-Time, Permanent position)
• Working hours: 40 hours per week
• Wage: $18.00 / hour (wage to be determined depend on experience and skills)
• Vacation: 4% gross salary

Requirements:
• Education: Completion of secondary school
• Experience: Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or several years (1-2 years) of commercial cooking experience are required.

Job Duties:
• Supervise activities of cooks and kitchen helpers
• Transfer new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staffs
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
• Create and develop recipes and menus
• Food preparation and cooking as customer’s request
• Ensure to maintain high quality of foods.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Estimate food requirements and costs and monitor and order supplies.
• Oversee kitchen operations.
• Clean kitchen and work area.
