Job Details Cabinet Maker
Due to business expansion, Vcabs Cabinets Ltd. In Richmond, British Columbia - a reputable Cabinet making, renovation and constructing company is looking for an experience Cabinet Maker.
Position is permanent and full-time 32 hr per week for $24.5 pr/hr.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Read and understand the plan, drawings of the objects, prepare specifications
• Prepare list of required material and hardware
• Make draft outlines and projected dimensions of wood to be used
• Operate cutting machines, specified saws (both electrical and hand-held)
• Trim joints and parts by using nails, screws
• Smoothen the surfaces, apply veneer or polish to finish the products
• Install or remove onsite kitchen cabinets and countertops
• May estimate costs upon requested

Job Description Requirement:
• Secondary school diploma
• Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program in cabinet making or combination of several years of related experience are required.
• Be able to handle heavy object up to 23 kgs (50 lbs)
• Ability to work flexible schedule
