Pure Body Health is looking for a new Registered Massage Therapists to join our team!

Pure Body Health is an eco-friendly wellness center, centrally located in beautiful Victoria, BC, as well as the beautiful Seaside city of Sidney. We offer our clients holistic healthcare treatments and services by registered practitioners. We aspire to give the highest level of therapeutic care, customized for each individual, in an environmentally conscious and nurturing atmosphere.

Position Summary:

We are looking for RMT's who are passionate about health and wellness, have great communication skills, have a genuine desire to help patients, love what they do and would like to work in a full amenity clinic, providing more time to focus on their patients.

We are located in the heart of downtown Victoria and Sidney BC in a new building. Both are ground level, with high traffic storefronts, with natural light, air conditioning, and are fully handicap accessible. There is an infrared sauna room, multiple spacious, sound dampened, treatment rooms, paraffin bath, and self-care retail items available for patient’s convenience. Offering full reception, staff room (with fridge/microwave/kettle), Jane app, direct billing, website, social media, electric table, linens, and laundry service. Currently our practitioner team includes RMTs, Acupuncturists and Athletic Therapists. With our patient’s optimal health in mind, there are a lot of cross referrals within our clinic, as well as with other health care professionals in the community. This is a fantastic opportunity to build/and or grow a patient’s base in a friendly, supportive, modern, tranquil environment. The job duties you will be responsible for:

• Maintain records of treatments given.
• Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilization and all other scopes of the registered practice.
• Explain procedures, risks and benefits to clients.
• Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans.
• Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques.
• Consult with other health care professionals when developing treatment plans for clients.

Credentials: Diploma in Registered Massage Therapy and a current active registration with the governing bodies of Province of British Columbia
