Job Details
DUTIES:
Start appointments, acquire a complete medical history and chief complaint prior to presenting to the veterinarian;
Have ability to complete blood draws, cytology and perform laboratory testing is required;
Provide care for in-house and drop-off patients (including cat, dog and pocket pets);
Perform surgical prep and monitor anesthesia for various routine and emergency surgeries is required;
Assist in the updating of client/patient files as needed;
Courteously and professionally address clients via telemedicine, email and/or in clinic;
Exercise time management skills and prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks in a calm, organized
manner;
Be comfortable working independently and with the team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 Year Veterinarian Degree or Veterinarian Technician Diploma;
5years experience as Veterinarian or Veterinarian Technician;
SALARY:
$19.00 per hour;
35-40 hrs per week.
