NPC College Arts + Design offers an educational model that is specifically developed to cultivate visual literacy and innovative thinking at the high school level. A key aim is to prepare high school students for admissions processes and portfolio reviews at leading post-secondary art and design programs. Since opening its doors in Greater Vancouver Canada, NPC has helped over two hundred students successfully enroll in the top art and design post-secondary programs in both North America and Europe. Currently, we have over 15 art and design training and portfolio preparation courses designed to provide students with the best possible opportunity to realize their creative and academic goals. Job Title: Administrative Assistant NOC 1241
Job Responsibilities:
Provide accurate and grammatically correct word processing, photocopying and other administrative tasks as required
Assist in scheduling and planning meetings, taking minutes at meetings, and assist with coordination of special events
Ensure the accessibility and availability of all required office supplies and equipment.
Taking Calls, liaising with clients to make appointments and collect required information
Create and maintain a current and resourceful filing system of all documents, manuals, syllabi, personnel records, agency agreements and forms.
Create and establish office procedures
Greet visitors coming to the college in a professional, friendly and caring manner
Schedule and confirm appointment and meeting with clients
Oversee the student database, including the student’s attendance, performance and academic progress;
Collaborate with other colleges to organize the school activities and meetings, prepare for the evaluation report after each event

Qualifications:
High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
2 years of experience in administration,
Proficiency in MS office word, excel, PPT and outlook
Excellent communication skills in English, bilingual a bonus but not preferred
Excellent computer and administration skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
