Job Details Competition Glass is looking to add to our commercial glass department. As a commercial journeyman/woman glazier or apprentice, you must be well versed in all aspects of the glazing trade and able to work alone or in a team environment. A journeyman glazier/apprentice will exhibit a working knowledge of common safe work practices and procedures and have the ability to comfortably liaison between Company project managers and general contractors’ field personnel, and respectfully represent our Company and its core values.

Job Description Reading and interpreting architectural blueprints and shop drawings.

o Journeyman/women glaziers - mentor and train apprentices, young/new worker

o Installing all architectural glass and aluminum products.

Including:

· Commercial store fronts and related doors, vents and hardware.

· Curtain wall systems and related doors vents and hardware.

· Skylights

· Flashings and break shapes

· Caulking and membranes

· Sealed units, single glass and mirror

· Specialty glass & aluminum products

Wages dependent upon experience. Full benefit plan and performance bonus. Great team environment, including several company social functions throughout the year.
