Job Details Childcare Worker
Birch Bear Cubs is a Licensed Family Childcare Facility with a goal to create an inclusive, child-led, emergent program steeped in the belief that children are strong, capable, creative thinkers who can explore their ideas in a myriad of ways.
We are located in Revelstoke BC. Our goal at Birch Bear Cubs is to provide the best quality care for the children.

Job Description Main Duties:
• Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
• Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children,
• Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
• Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
• Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
• Lead several main activities such as telling stories, provide activities that encourage creativity through arts, plays or music.
• Prepare reports of any behavioral problems of the children for supervisor or parents.
• Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties

Job Description
And:

• 2-3 years experience in childcare
• Responsible Adult Course in child development, health safety, and child guidance
• First Aid
• Criminal Record Check


Remuneration:

• $18 per hour
• Paid vacation
• Paid sick day
