Job Details Diesel Mechanic is responsible for cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, removal of parts and attachments, troubleshooting, and replacement of defective parts. Installation with the help of proper manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reuses evaluation.

Job Description 1. Maintain, service, inspect and repair all heavy trucks.
2. Order and maintain inventory.
3. Keep proper record of documentation and reports.
4. Clean, lubricate and perform all routine maintenance work.
5. Verify and repair emission control systems.
6. Maintain and service attachments and working tools.
7. Repair and replace defective or expired tools.
8. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications and delivers optimum performance.
9. Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
10. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerised and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
11. Perform repair work on heavy trucks
12. Weld whenever necessary.
