Job Details Kasai Teppanyaki Steak & Sushi House is looking for a permanent full-time (40hr), Japanese Food Cook.

Several years of relevant work experience?
Your duties:
• Prepares and cooks different types of Japanese dishes/meals
• Maintains orders and supplies.
• Assist the Chef planning menus
• Assist hiring and training kitchen staff
• Inspects and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
• Ensures freshness of food and ingredients
• Check for quality and maintain ongoing standards

Job Description Requirements:
• 2+ years of proven relevant work experience in a similar setting or completion of a cooking program or a combination of these
• High School diploma
• Position requires shift work (morning, afternoon, late night closing, and/or weekends)
Personal Attributes:
• Strong interpersonal & relationship skills.
• Passion for producing consistent high quality dishes.
• Dedicated and hardworking; honest and responsible.
Remuneration:
• full-time 40hr/per week. $16 per/hr
• 2 weeks vacation
