Job Details Position: Home Child Care Provider
Salary: $17.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week

We are looking for a home child care provider for our 2-yr old and 11-yr old children.

Job Requirements:

• Secondary education;
• Have 1 year of experience looking after children;
• Able to cook;
• Organized and reliable;
• Excellent personal hygiene;
• Have a strong sense of responsibility;
• Childcare related certificate is an asset;
• Criminal record check and reference may be required;

Job Description • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for my children;
• Prepare nutritious meal and snacks for children;
• Bathe and dress my younger child;
• Take my younger child for walks and help him to learn different objects;
• Engage my younger child with fun learning activities such as reading, drawing, crafting, etc.
• Oversee the well-being of the children and ensure they are aware of their physical and emotional needs including instructing them on personal hygiene and social development;
• Keep records and communicate with parents about children’s performance, daily activities, health information regarding the children and any other problems;
• Do some light housekeeping as required;
• Perform other child care duties as required.
