Job Description Specific Skills:
Be able to maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, andsoldering equipment; Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automatedwelding equipment; Determine weldability of materials; Operate metal shapingmachines such as brakes, shears, and other metal straightening and bendingmachines; Fit, braze and torch-straight metal; Interpret welding processspecifications; Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repairmetal parts and products; Also, operate hoisting and lifting equipment

Additional Skills - Read and interpret welding blueprints; Examine welds andensure that they meet standards and/or specifications, experience with thefollowing materials Stainless steel, Steel, iron, and heavy metals.
