Job Description Title of Position: Cooks
The Employer: The Diplomat Restaurant is a award winning high
volume Chinese/Canadian restaurant operating in the City of
Fredericton, New Brunswick for 28 years. The Restaurant is
renown for its quality Chinese food menu. The restaurant
offers dining, take out, delivery and catering for small to
large groups.
Job Duties: Candidates should have demonstrated Asian cooking
experience in a fast-paced environment. The successful
applicants while working under the direction of the Head Chef
are expected to exercise a degree of independence while
preparing both complete meals and individual items. The
candidates must have knowledge of and comply with restaurant
protocols and be able to maintain inventory and records for
food, supplies and equipment.
Terms of Employment: Full time permanent positions, Minimum 30
hours per week inclusive of day, evening and weekend shifts
Language of Work: English
Wage: $13.00/hour Cdn plus Gratuities and 4% Vacation Pay

Skills Requirements: Minimum 2 years work experience cooking
Canadian & Asian food or Graduation from a Culinary Program.
Ability to take direction. Fluency in the English Language not
